Entertainment Weekly reports Amy will perform at the Grammys -- but via satellite.
Uncle Sam does not, not, not want Amy Winehouse! TMZ has learned the cracked-out singer will not perform at this year's Grammy Awards because her visa has been denied.
After the decision came down, her publicist issued the following statement: "Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery."
No word on why the visa was denied, but perhaps this, this, this and getting caught on tape allegedly smoking crack might be to blame.
Winehouse, who has been in and out of rehab, also canceled a slew of tour dates this year.

Brit's Lawyer Dismissed. Jamie's Still in Control!
The lawyer that Britney supposedly hired on her own to present her in the case regarding control over her estate, has been dropped and furthermore Jamie Spears will still remain in control. A statement released by Adam Streisand's firm read "At the request of Britney Spears, Adam Streisand, a Partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, met with her yesterday to discuss her legal rights in connection with the conservatorship over her person and estate. Following that meeting, Mr. Streisand learned that the court had issued orders that prevent Ms. Spears from retaining counsel of her own choosing, and on that basis, Mr. Streisand has decided he will not represent her at this time."
Basically what this means is, that Jamie is still legally in control of Brit's estate until it is proves that she can manage it herself. The estate btw, is estimated at $4 million! Seems like a lot of dough, but it's probably not even half of how much it once was. Yeah, I don't think buying new luxury cars and skipping out of treatment early really bodes well for you being able to control your own accounts. She doesn't have her kids, she doesn't have her money, what's the last straw for Britney?!

Angelina reportedly got pregnant to keep Brad

Angelina Jolie’s latest pregnancy may be more the result of insecurity than love. According to National Enquirer, the stunning actress spent the last year terrified that Brad Pitt would end their relationship if she failed to give him another child.
Insiders told the tabloid that Brad is devoted to both their adopted children and biological child. Still, Brad desired to sire another heir. He and Angie had several heated disagreements over whether to postpone another adoption in favor of a homemade baby.
Angie grew insecure and decided another biological child could relieve the tension. “Then, when she couldn’t get pregnant, Angelina worried that Brad might leave her,” a source confided to Enquirer. “That’s when she went to the specialist.” Finally in vitro fertilization provided Brangelina with not one baby, but twins!

CLOONEY ''LOOKS DOWN'' ON REALITY TV STARS
Clooney says there is a "pecking order" among actors, but insists all thespians have a low opinion of talentless attention seekers.
He said: "There is a strange pecking order among actors. Theater actors look down on film actors, who look down on TV actors. Thank God for reality shows, or we wouldn't have anybody to look down on."
George's comments have seemingly ruled him out of appearing on hit US talent show "Dancing With the Stars."
Last month, the show's host Samantha Harris said: "George Clooney, I pose this challenge to you - I want to see you shake your hips!"
"You know what? George Clooney is such a gentleman, and he looks fantastic in a tux, I think that he would do an amazing job in the ballroom numbers."
Clooney originally found fame in the 90s as Dr. Doug Ross, in US hit TV show "ER."
He then hit the big time in Hollywood with roles in a string of hit movies including "Three Kings," "Syriana" - for which he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 2006 - and "Ocean's Eleven."
This year, he has been nominated for Best Actor for his role in "Michael Clayton" at the upcoming Academy Awards due to take place on February 24.

Eva Out of Rehab -- For Just a Moment
TMZ has the first picture of a currently rehabbing Eva Mendes out and about in the Hollywood Hills, after recently checking into rehab. Never fear though ... Eva's on her way back.
Her rep says, "Eva is attending to some personal business in Los Angeles and intends to return to complete her treatment shortly."
